Ouch - that hurt!!

I described our lovely Sunday lunch and about me eating wild boar which was lovely. At the time I crunched on something hard and realised it was a piece of bone from the boar. Unfortunately it damaged one of my teeth and it started giving me some jip yesterday and wobbling a lot. Today we hunted out a dentist in San Piero a Sieve, the village adjacent to the camp site, and a lovely dentist called Fabio Banzoni saved me. Mrs Cole (my dentist in the UK - who may be reading this) was missed greatly as I had such a lot of trust in her - Fabio ended up being fabio though and doing a repair job to last me until I get to Cyprus when I will need another crown - that will be a financial ouch. He had to take the back of the tooth off and smooth the edges. Fingers crossed it will be ok.

We also found this great wifi hotspot in the village with an air conditioned cafe attached so we are sitting here having a drink and watching music videos while we blog.

Another day of relaxation today with some preparation for a visit to Florence tomorrow on the train. We have checked out the local train station and parking there and it only costs 2.40 euros each to get to Florence. We will set off early in the morning to make the best of the cooler part of the day. We are really enjoying the mediterranean lifestyle now that we are getting up early and having a siesta after lunch in the heat of the day. It makes good sense to live the life like the locals.

Yesterday evening we spent time with Len and Nadine again over a bottle or two of wine. They have moved on this morning to pastures new and have another ten days or so of their holiday to complete before going back to Grimsby. We had a good laugh with them though and Steve kept them amused with his police stories while Len told us of his RAF antics. We took a pic of them before they left.

We are still enjoying our food and drink - I can't chew much on one side of my mouth so much at the moment though - it won't stop me eating. The price of food in Italy is high though - thankfuly the quality is also high.

So back to the campsite for us and an hour around the pool and a read before another lovely evening meal. Tomorrow Florence...
